Located in South London near Brixton, this 1870s 3-storey terraced house was recently converted into a modern open-plan apartment-style residence by its owner (who works in the design industry). She designed the interior herself, hiring no architect or project manager. A structural engineer took out all the horizontal and vertical walls and inserted 7 metal beams, which are hidden in the ceilings. The furniture is by Blu Dot, Charles Eames, Verner Panton, Mathew Hilton and the ceramics by Bozart, Roost, Yoshi Moto Nara (Japanese statue).
